I’m in the midst of tons of holiday recipe testing. Don’t get me wrong, it’s delicious and I’m loving every minute of it, but it definitely leaves me craving simple, healthy, whole food.
These ground turkey lettuce wraps have been my saving grace when I can tell that I’ve had too much sugar, and not enough protein or fiber. They are the perfect quick and healthy weeknight meal. I love that I can meal prep the slaw and the ground turkey, and then I have an easy low carb dinner that I can throw together in literally minutes.
What to serve with lettuce wraps:
There are so many amazing healthy options to serve with lettuce wraps. Some of my favorites are cauliflower rice, roasted or grilled vegetables, and pickled onions or jalapenos.

You can use any ground meat recipe that you like, but I highly recommend using my Ground Turkey Taco Meat recipe! The two (not so) secret ingredients (strained tomatoes and bouillon) make ALL the difference in making it the MOST flavorful and delicious ground turkey you’ve ever had.
