Hershey Pie is the easiest no-bake chocolate mousse pie ever! It’s decadent, delicious, and it’s the perfect easy dessert for Thanksgiving, Christmas, or birthdays.
Hershey Chocolate Pie
This Hershey Pie is seriously the easiest and tastiest chocolate pie. It’s very versatile, so I think it would be amazing for any event where you’d normally serve a cake.
The flavor is somewhere between an ice cream cake and a freezer cake, even though it doesn’t actually have any cake in it. It’s so rich, creamy, and delicious.
I’ve always loved Hershey’s chocolate and this no-bake dessert is now one of my favorites. Seriously. It only takes 5 minutes of prep, and 2 hours of resting time, to serve a little slice of heaven to all your guests.
My favorite part of this recipe is just how easy it is. When I think of desserts like this, I normally assume that I’ll need lots of ingredients and a good amount of effort to make the chocolate mousse filling.
I love that the Cool Whip whipped topping allows me to skip heavy whipping cream, condensed milk, cream cheese, corn syrup, cornstarch, and all the other ingredients that are normally needed.
Try serving a slice of this to all the chocolate lovers in your life! I like using a cheese grater to make chocolate shavings to sprinkle on top as a garnish.
It would also be amazing with a caramel drizzle (especially if it was served with a side of cookies and cream ice cream).
What Is A Hershey Pie Made Of?
Hershey Pie is a chocolate mousse pie served in a ready-made graham cracker crust. This 3-ingredient dessert is light, creamy, decadent, and so delicious. This is one of the best easy pie recipes with few ingredients. The only ingredients you need are Hershey’s milk chocolate, a graham cracker crust, and Cool Whip.
If you want to play with the flavors a bit, you could use Reese’s peanut butter cups instead of Hershey’s milk chocolate. You could also make a homemade cookie crust, or use a blind baked pie crust, instead of using a ready-made graham cracker crust.
How To Make Hershey Pie
Start by setting aside one bar of chocolate to use as garnish later. Break up the remaining chocolate, and then microwave it in a microwave-safe bowl until the chocolate is melted. (See the recipe card below for the full printable instructions.)
Mix in the thawed Cool Whip until the malted chocolate and whipped topping are fully combined.
Transfer the filling to a pre-made graham cracker crust, garnish it with the remaining chocolate, and refrigerate it until it is set. See the recipe card below for the full written instructions, including ingredient amounts, times, and helpful tips, etc.
Hershey Pie vs. Hershey Kiss Pie
They’re really similar since they’re both chocolate pies made with Hershey’s chocolate.
The main difference is that Hershey Kiss Pie uses Hershey’s Kisses chocolate instead of the milk chocolate bars in this recipe.
Hershey Kiss Pie also uses cream cheese and heavy whipping cream, so it’s a bit more time intensive to make it.
Since this recipe is easier to make, I prefer this one. It’s easier because you only have to unwrap a few chocolate bars instead of unwrapping 40+ Hershey’s Kisses, and because you don’t have to take the time to melt the cream cheese on the stove and whip the heavy whipping cream.
